A delightful surprise at Mystic Isle
Upon arrival, the motel was even more charming than expected. The staff greeted us warmly, and our room had a cozy log cabin vibe with fresh flowers. We loved the little amenities space with coffee and snacks!
Unfortunately, we missed having air conditioning during the warmer nights, which made sleeping a bit uncomfortable. A simple fan would have sufficed to circulate the air better.

would stay here again
Room was clean and cozy with a fridge, flat-screen TV, and nice seating area. Shower had modern fixtures and the toiletries provided were great. Outdoor area had nice tables and a grill. Staff was super polite and helpful. Perfect spot for relaxation after a long day of hiking. Free WiFi was a plus!

Upon entering, the room felt a bit chilly, then cranked the heat overnight and ended up sweating. The lack of an exhaust fan led to excess moisture after showers, which could be uncomfortable during colder months when you can't just crack a window.

Oh man, the Kinniwabi Pines across the road was a total game changer! We stuffed our faces there both nights and couldn't get enough. The facilities are recently updated and super comfy—perfect for a chill night in with games at the big table. Plus, the outdoor grilling area looked inviting too!
But, we hit a snag with cold water during the first shower. The owner reset the heater, which fixed it fast, but air conditioning was missed for those warmer nights. A fan could've helped, ya know?

We experienced a cold shower initially, but the owner promptly fixed the heater. Just a minor hiccup.
